ABOUT ALLY

I’m Ally, an Australian living in the UK, and I founded Align by Ally to share my passion for contemporary Pilates.

Having been a dancer my entire life and transitioning into teaching, I discovered the transformative power of Reformer Pilates while practicing at home.

 

I trained with Emma Newham Fitness to deepen my knowledge and expertise, and after growing my small business alongside full-time work, I now run Align by Ally full-time in a dedicated studio in Northampton.

My approach to Pilates blends the classic principles of Joseph Pilates with a contemporary twist, focusing on core strength, controlled movements, and creating a flow that promotes both comfort and challenge. With a strong emphasis on pulses and holds, my classes are designed to engage and strengthen the body, cultivating a deep connection between movement and breath.
